Taking a Screenshot


You can take a screenshot on the Mac two ways:
1. Command + shift + 3 takes a picture of your entire screen
2. Command + shift + 4gallows you to take a picture of a selected section of your computer screen

Adding Characters


On Macintosh OS X, you can use the operating system’s character palette to find special characters. Press command+option+t to make the character palette window appear.

If you are using Microsoft Office products, you can access the special characters by following these instructions:

  1. On the Insert menu, click Symbol.
  2. In the Symbol dialog box, on the Symbols tab, scroll until you will find the degree symbol.
  3. Double-click the degree symbol.
