Moving Files to Google Docs/Drive

You can easily upload files from your computer to Google Doc/Drive. Here are a few tips and pointers to keep in mind:
  • Google Chrome allows you to upload whole folders into Google Docs/Drive.
  • Uploading Pages and Numbers files in Google Docs/Drive - If you want to edit these files, then you must export them first as a Word or Excel file. Then you can upload them for editing purposes.
  • Check your uploading features before you begin uploading files. The easiest method is to click on the gear in Google Docs and select "Upload Settings."
You have 3 optional settings:
  1. Convert uploaded files to Google Docs format
  2. Convert text from uploaded PDF and image files
  3. Confirm settings before each upload

Google Spreadsheet - Page Breaks

You can't really make or show the page breaks in a Google spreadsheet like you can in Numbers or Excel. The best work around for making 'page breaks' is to create a new sheet. If you need to print a spreadsheet and want to know where the page will break, do the following:
  • Choose Print
  • Select the page layout you desire
  • Look at the print preview to see where the pages will cut off
